Hurricane Sandy Relief Charity Art Auction

Artist Seth Apter is auctioning off art bundles as a way of helping fellow New Yorkers in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. 100% of the proceeds will benefit The Mayors Fund to Advance New York City.  Donations will support immediate aid needs - including water, food and hygiene supplies - as well as long-term relief and restoration efforts. One hundred percent of donations are being dispersed to relief organizations and their efforts.

”It is easy to feel helpless during such a devastating event,” he stated in yesterday’s email. “This is my way of doing something!”

Posting his appeal to Red Room members and its broader readership is my way of helping to spread the word and to, hopefully, assist Seth in raising much needed funds for the millions of people affected by this monumental disaster.

Bidding ends on 11:59 pm EST Sunday, November 11th. The winning bidder has the option of making their donation directly to the charity via credit card or Paypal.
