Anthea Anka, daughter of singer/composer, Paul Anka, discovered her love of the creative arts at a young age. Beginning in music she toured with her father across the USA, Mexico, Canada and Europe and also recorded the Gold selling single, “Do I Love You” with her father and Barry Gibb. Shortly thereafter, writing took hold and she found herself channeling her creativity through scriptwriting as well as helming her own blog (www.antheaanka.com).
Her first script, "Across The Pond" - a big budget romantic comedy – was optioned by Jerry Weintraub Productions & Warner Brothers Studios. Currently Anthea has several projects in development with her screenplay "Battlecreek" going into pre-production in the fall, with Alison Eastwood set to direct.
Anthea has also written for London daily newspaper the Metro, various UK men’s magazines as well as recently working with The Printed Blog. Anthea lives in London with her husband and eight month old son.
