Product Description
This book is a powerful analysis of ten areas where national life has
gone wrong, and it proposes ten solutions for rebuilding a better
Britain. Anthony Seldon examines the history of trust in civic society,
draws lessons from the past and looks at new solutions to resolve our
lack of trust in politics, business, science, the police, education,
religion, and most important of all, ourselves.

From the Publisher
TRUST is a book which runs with the zeitgeist of our uncertain
times and provides a diagnosis for our future.

About the Author
Professor Anthony Seldon founded the Institute of
Contemporary History in 1986, and is one of the most
prolific commentators on contemporary Britain. He has
written or edited books on every government over the last
fifty years, is the authorised or unofficial biographer of
recent Prime Ministers, and is currently working on "Brown
at 10", and edited "How the Tory Party recovers" and
Conservative Century", which was the spur for Philip
Gould's "The Unfinished Revolution". He has extensive
contacts in Number 10 and in the top level of the Civil
Service and think tanks. The book is very much in tune
with the thinking of David Cameron, Michael Gove, Steve
Hilton and others. The author is also a leading exponent of
the Happiness/Positive Psychology agenda in Britain.
