The Alt Holiday Book Bazaar presents itself as a win-win affair, and, from the looks of its fourth-year incarnation, we have to agree. Part holiday shop-stop, part author meet-and-greet, and part booze-fest, organizers and local writers Rob Cohen and David Wollock promise that even if you don’t find anything you like, you’ll at least get some free alcohol out of it. Authors including Alex Austin, Gary O’Brien, Melissa Heckscher, and Robert Rhine will be on hand for signings, along with DJs doing Christmas mash-ups, and, of course, those complementary inebriants. 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Free.
