Recently returned to the US, Ann Jacobus lived for seventeen years in Europe and the Middle East. Her passion for stories, however, was nurtured by school librarians in Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from Dartmouth College, and earned an MFA in Writing for Children from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She writes YA and middle grade fiction, teaches writing for children, reads kid lit submissions for Hunger Mountain literary magazine and presents at graduate conferences in the US and Canada. Publications include an article in the University of Winchester children’s literature journal, Write4Children, and a story in the anthology, Lines in the Sand: New Writing on War and Peace.
