Ann Gonzalez used the support of 80,000 other nanowrimo writers and the faculty and students of The Whidbey Writers Workshop MFA program to complete her first novel, Running for My Life. Ann was fortunate to be able to read the first chapter of her manuscript to literary agent, Regina Brooks from Serendipity LIterature. Regina was interested enough to ask for the whole manuscript and later signed Ann and sold the MS to WestSide Books.
