This weekend I'm going to post a couple of new blog items and finish at least chapter six of "Hummingbird". I'm kinda tired of the corpse now - maybe it should be Harry's estranged son. What do you think? Oooohh - creepy. I don't usually have truly creepy plot developments but that would be because we've never even met the guy plus HOW SAD - it's The Missing Guy's son - done in by the Assassin no doubt. Yeah, yeah - that means Mike has to come out to the beach and identify him. Yo.
In real life, Husbandman and I will watch a billion hours of US Open matches, go out to a nice dinner, maybe. Hang pictures finally. Hike through the cemetery. Go visit The Gap and Nordstrom Rack - have mucho discount offers. Monday we're going to a barbecue and round robin at our tennis club - hope its hot and we get lots of sun! Played 3 hours of mixed doubles tonight with an old friend and a new friend - I am POOPED!.
The Bay Bridge is closed for renovations or I'd be going into SF - hmmmm - wonder if BART is insane in the membrane or if we could just slog over for lunch and a visit to the Noir Festival. The Richard Avedon show is still at MOMA and I'm salivating at the thought of seeing it. H-man would probably rather cut his arm off with a butter knife than go with me - there are always GIRLFRIENDS!
So how boring is this blog entry? It's like reading fly paper or rubbing your eyes with salt. Useless and annoying. I do plan to torture my cats over the holiday, if that counts as something interesting. One of the primary traits of Cereal Killers is the torture and maiming of ani....oh wait, animal CRACKERS! Silly me, the cats are safe, but the cookies better hide. Off to the showers - 3 AM.
ESTEBAN & RUTH! have a nice vacation. Ruth, Steve is supposed to read "Hummingbird" on the plane. Pinch him as a reminder for me, please?
