Serendipity ... January 2013

WELCOME NEW AND LONG TIME SUBSCRIBERS!

Serendipity is not your traditional style newsletter. It is Angel Logan's unique way of reaching out to her readers and friends – to stay in touch, to give updates on her writing career, and to share a few of the personal and professional pearls of wisdom that she has acquired along her journey. It is great to have you here, and Angel hopes you enjoy reading this month’s Serendipity.

HI EVERYONE!

Happy New Year! I had a great time celebrating and ringing in the New Year with my husband at one of our favorite places, Biagio Ristorante. It is so much fun glamming up with glitz and glitter for special occasions like New Years. Okay, some of you, who know me well, know that I tend to be a little glittery on a normal day. (HAHA) However, New Year's Eve allows us to step it up a bit more in the glam department and I LOVE that! I was also beyond pleased to hear that despite Dick Clark's passing, it was still Dick Clark's Rockin Eve, as it has been for as long as I can remember.

Clearly, we survived the end of the Mayan calendar, as I knew that we would ... and now it is time to look forward. To quote part of a passage that I wrote recently, "As you embark upon the New Year, don't focus upon the areas of life last year that were negative by making unrealistic resolutions. Instead, remember what you learned and achieved, revel in what gave you joy, and embrace the personal connections that you made. Then, carry the magic from those blissful moments with you into 2013 and build upon that foundation with gratitude, hope, and love in your heart."

I've been brimming with ideas for new projects to start this year. Of course, I will have to balance those ideas with my regular customer projects, but I am not one to sit still for very long, so I am confident that I can make everything work. I hope to do a few things combining my musical background with my writing ... bringing the best of my two primary passions together. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

My site was down for a few days, while my hosting company went through a big system transition. This not only disabled my site, but also, the email to subscribe to my newsletter was temporarily down. I'd like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during that time. The hosting company seems to have everything in place now, but they are still working through a few general bugs. If you have any trouble viewing my site, please let me know.

Finally, I would like to welcome my newest subscribers. I hope that you enjoy Serendipity and I look forward to sharing a little bit of my world with you!

As always, thank you everyone for your love, friendship, and unyielding support during the past seven years. I look forward to more years with all of you! Talk to you next month.

~Angel
