Being a poet what is your poetic response to the question of why you chose the cover? Very nice too!
Cover Choice
Hi Michael,
It's of course a subjective choice. I will say that I prefer using art from a living contemporary or working with a personal friend, as I did with this cover, to design the look of the cover. The reason I like this image is that it is full of connotative meanings. There is possibility in the image. It is also an image filled with tension- the bird is about to leap into the air and fly off. I like ambiguity in imagery.
