Calling for a transformation towards a better world is once again the ambition and purpose of the poet, in this case, that of thousands of poets world-wide.
In a veritable marathon that spans all time zones and continents poets will join in a demonstration/celebration of poetry to promote urgent social, environmental, and political change.
International poet Ana Elsner is adding her voice to this chorus on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at a dedicated reading taking place at The Beat Museum in San Francisco.
Ana's poetry concerns itself prominently with issues of political and social injustice, global terrorism, ecocide and human suffering and with ways to overcome these tragedies.
100 Thousand Poets For Change is the perfect forum to explore our potential for righting the countless wrongs that we have inflicted on mankind.
Please come out in support of this global poetry campaign.
