where the writers are
Red Room readers and my children can laugh at me as I am laughing at Will Ferrell

Ok, have you seen the movie Elf with Will Ferrell in it? If you have you must know the very best scene ever made in any film. You know what I am talking about, don't you? For those of you who don't-here goes:

Will's character, Buddy, is helping with decorating his fathers Christmas tree. He is going to put an ornament on the tree and in order to get it on the tree he exits frame then comes running back into the frame, trampoline jumps the ottoman over the couch onto the tree, and cartoon character splatting then falling with tree to the ground.

This entire scene lasts for mere seconds, however in my home, it will be replayed on average twenty-five times in one sitting. Of course, it is none other than yours truly who repeats this and forces my children to sit staring at me wide-eyed as I laugh so hard I slide down a chair, turn red in the face, snort loudly and howl like a wild animal who just sucked helium out of a balloon. I have never seen anything more funny in my entire life, nor will I ever. Will Ferrell takes the cake with that scene and I truly appreciate the comedy, humor and effort each time I watch it.

Now, go to your shelf, pick up the movie and play the scene. Get back to me on this one. If you don't, I will be forced to come and take you from your homes into my living room and suffer next to my children as I replay the scene, over and over again.
