I had an extraordinary childhood and youth, spent in three different countries in central and southern Africa, an era in my life that has laid its seal on the way I have lived my life ever since.
The original paperback version was published by a niche New Zealand publisher (that's where I was living at the time) back in 1995 - in a print run of less than 3000 copies - and it's been long out of print.
It is now my pleasure and privilege to announce that the book is available to a brand new audience - for the Kindle, here:
http://www.amazon.com/Houses-in-Africa-ebook/dp/B004SRCA18/ref=sr_1_36?i...
and for many other platforms (Kobo, Nook, etc.) here:

So - if you own an e-reader and are looking for a new book to read, do pay a visit to "Houses in Africa". And I would be more than delighted to hear what you thought of it - leave a comment here, or a review on Amazon, or a rating at Smashwords. Happy reading!
