A single eye, penetrating and encompassing, looks
like a woman's eye-bright, clear, oval, full of life-
opens from the heavens.
It casts a bright, not blinding, even warm, beam to earth,
lighting where it will-on anything-and with full
outpouring of itself.
Long, steady vision getting behind things. Seeing the
unseen, including the good of things in time. Peeling away
the scaled eyes of earth. Bringing color to the drab and
neutrality to the overextended.
As a man, I know the special seeing of a woman.
Oh, to have that eye!
