Lask[a] is purring away, and it's getting a bit warm here at "The Miles and Irma [sic] Archer Memorial Information Center." Dracula's Helpers are a-rapping and a-tapping across the alleyway on the refurbishing of 530 Leavenworth Street.
The big political news on the Republican front is that Ex-Governor Mitt Romney appeared to be pulling away from Ex-Speaker Newt Gingrich in Florida, with less than three days left before Primary Election Day --
News is just in that former Candidate Herman Cain has come out for . . . Newt Gingrich. It is a prediction that I made a couple of months ago.
How could an intelligent former CEO of Godfather's Pizza have thought that he could make a respectable run for the Presidency, knowing that a couple of women had made sizeable "sexual harrassment" sentlements with the restaurant association he took over? or that he had maintained a secret relationship with another woman, paying her sums of money monthly?
The answer may well be that Herman Cain was a natural Citizen Cain , taking heat off Gingrich for his many past pecodillos, at the psychological moment. Time may tell that, if Gingrich slugs his way to the Nomination after all, Herman Cain will have his campaign expenses erased and receive a solid position in the Gingrich Cabinet should his fellow Georgian win.
Time will tell, as it always does.
[On FOX, Ex-Governor Sarah Palin, looking beside herself for not running, also came awfully close to endorsing Gingrich.]
Macresarf1 would write no more this day.
