Having watched, in the early hours of Father's Day,  GLORIOUS '39 for for a sixth time (suggesting serious mental illness on my part), I rose in the early afternoon.  Shortly, I had a pleasant, most welcome call from Granddaughter Laversa, again staying with her Daddy and Mommy.  Like a normal teenager, she was fighting boredom.  [What a fortune could be made from a device that could create empathy for  adolescents with the multitude of wholesome activities  and interests there are in the World, and if not the World (in these Apocalyptic times . . . the Universe!] She indicated that she would survive.

    I then offered Father's Day greetings to Son Jason, Bruce Holmes in Reno, and various friends on the Internet.

    Later in the day, Son Jason appeared (as is becoming usual), and Son Guy and I had a small chat with him.

  Later still, Bunty and Miranda called to wish me a happy day.

    My Father's Day "dinner" was a guilty pleasure of home baked biscuits with Blue Agave syrup.

    Throughout the evening my thoughts came back to the travail of my friend BAMBO-BAMBO on the morrow.  Much luck to him!

   SIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE:  Senator Lieberman, the apostate, has joined Representative Issa and Gowdy, etc, in condemning President Obama on the Intelligence leaks, "Fast 'n Furious," the beginning of a new political witch hunt by the Republicans, one which, unfortunately, has some basis -- the typical stupidity of this Administration!
