Day 155: Macresarf1's Year of the Apocalypse 2012 -- Of Sunlit Coffee Meets and Khachaturian!

Joyous day, this day.

Son Jason called us to say that his old friend Rena -- "The Bread Girl" -- was driving down to pay us a visit.  Later, he appeared with her at the door, and I went over to the Angel Cafe with them for coffee.  We had an interesting time, in the sunlight and fresh breezy air.  Jason then picked up his daughter, and all went to the Zeum, where they made a little movie.

When back at the apartment, Son Guy and I had a nice talk.

I did my Email, and began a new creative project.  In my 81st Year, I'm beginning to listen to music while working.  It may help.  Right now I'm listening to Itzhak Perlman and the Khachaturian Violin Concerto.

Late in the evening, the only somber note, an old friend of ours phoned to say that he has been diagnosed with Liver Cancer.

SIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE:  The case reported earlier this week of a naked guy on "bath salts," who was found gnawing the face off an equally naked friend, growled at intervening officers, and had to be shot like a rabid dog, seems to be only the tip of an iceberg.  Cases are now reported all over the East Coast of similar bizarre incidents.  "Doing the Zombie" is no longer so funny as it was.

Macresarf1 would write no more this day.
