Getting started late:  A rather warm day for the Bay Area -- 74* in Downtown San Francisco.

   Woke quite dopey.

   Worked for a while, but my computer has been taken over by AT&T again, and all the things I usually depend upon are either gone or inconveniently placed.  Went back to bed, discouraged.

   Woke again around 4:30.  Worked again for a while.

   Son Guy's ribs seem a little better.  Various pals from down south and the hometown have been phoning to cheer him up.

   Nothing on DISH seems interesting lately.  Ended up watching a documentary about exploitation movies made in the Philippines  in the 1960's and 1970's.  A lot of clips from an interview with Joe Dante.  He's a very interesting director.  I met him once with Todd Baesen.  Found him a nice guy.

   Bud E. Pup has just arrived.  I need to go eat.
