Day 107: Macresarf1's Year of the Apocalypse -- Taxes Safely Away

Bustled around a bit today in the apartment.  Son Guy was well enough to go out searching for forms.  [My printer is jammed.] Unfortunately, he took an ugly tumble in the shower, but it seems only bruised his ribs.  He was back in good time, and I set to work.  Though I had very little to declare, the process, between the form and the online instructions for the Fed 1040 EZ and the Cal 540 2EZ instructions took me (with time out for nap, until 11 p.m.)  But done and mailed, with a small overall refund, I can relax.

Sorry I missed saturnine Chairman Daryl Issa's hearings of the Government Oversight and Reform Committee today.  The subject was Government waste among the watchdogs. He may have uncovered another "Fast and Furious," even if as usual, he has the right A-Ha! but the wrong Ho-Ho! Perhaps I'll catch it in the Cspan Archives.

I'm just going to kick back for a while now.

Macresarf1 would write no more this day.
