 1-      My essay about going to grad school in my fifties (and featuring both Bennington and Goddard MFA programs) has just been published in the inaugural issue of the new website SecondAct.com   This is a terrific new site aimed at Boomers, brought to you by Entrepreneur and edited by the incomparable Donna Wares.

  2-      My critical essay “Turning the Screws of Story Construction with Henry James” (interpreting  The Turn of the Screw as metafiction) appears in the May/June edition of The AWP's Writer’s Chronicle. I expect this issue will show up online in another week or two at awpwriter.org
