Pablo Neruda was born in 1904 and died in 1973.He was buried in a private graveyard. Neruda was a prolific poet with more than thirty six poems collections. His book was ‘twenty love poems and a song of despair'. He won the Lenin peace prize for literature and noble prize for literature in 1971.His poems consists of two main themes: personal agony and historical self for Chile emerging from colonial past. Pablo Neruda was also a diplomat in favor of proletariat. Neruda was a defiant man with tremendous courage. He had a fertile imagination. He was posted in Batavia when he married in 1930.For seven long years he lived in political activist. The Colombian Novelist Gabriel Marquez regarded that he was the poet of twentieth century in any language.
