Literary Death Match SF has teamed with Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Global Lives, and Litquake to showcase one of the biggest (and we're aiming to make it the best) Literary Death Match in history. Held at the 324-seat YBCA Forum, we've assembled a jaw-dropping selection of talent to warrant the venue's size. Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jane Smiley (A Thousand Acres), Olympic gold medalist Brian Boitano (What Would Brian Boitano Make?) and past-LDM champion Daniel Handler (a.k.a. Lemony Snicket and author of Adverbs) will pass literary, performative, and intangibles judgment over a ridiculously brilliant foursome.

The four authors fighting to the not-at-all-death include Beth Lisick (Porchlight co-host and author of Helping Me Help Myself), Daniel Alarcón (Lost City Radio), Jillian Lauren (Some Girls: My Life in a Harem), and performance poet Taylor Mali (The Last Time As We Are).

Hosted by LDM creator Todd Zuniga and LDM SF producer Elissa Bassist.
