Sounds like a cool site

Thanks for letting us know about this, Aaron. I hope you'll find ways to cross-promote actively between Red Room and OurStory.

Thank you

Hey thanks. Yours is the first message I've received and I keep checking my settings to see if I've accidentally but up blockers or something. Sounds pathetic, but it's just that I see from my Dashboard that people check out my RR page, but it would be nice to communicate w/ them sometimes.

I'm not affiliated w/ OurStory, btw, but you're right that it is a totally cool site. The guy who created it, Andy Halliday, is so accessible and chats w/ people all the time. The way the site is set up was perfect for my project of transferring my diaries online. And it's a much better social networking site than Facebook, for my money.

So nice hearing from you. Just curious about where RR's offices are located.

No blocks

Thanks for replying, Aaron. Most people report that their dashboards show lots of visitors even when they get no comments, so you're not alone.

It can be gratifying to get comments, though, and the best way I know to get them is to make the acquaintance of other interesting Red Roomers by commenting on their blogs and inviting them to come check out something you've uploaded. Also, we always love it when people spread the word on Twitter, Facebook, Digg, StumbleUpon, etc. about great content they've seen on Red Room.

Our offices are in San Francisco, by the way.
