About Me

  • I was born in South Africa. I have two degrees.

Dancing and Singing in CATS: The Musical World Tour was the highlight of my career. I also danced for Cape Town City Ballet, Cape Dance Company, Flatfoot Dance Company, and The Big Toe Dance Theatre Company.

    • I'm sipping on a cup of hot green tea, no sugar. My reflection copies everything I do. It's silent in the voice department though. So I'm sipping and sighing with myself on a Saturday morning. Magic fingers massage the knots of the week away. My stiff neck softens up a bit. My shoulders and upper back respond. Time passes as the fingers knead and knead and knead. My eyes close. Next up is my ...

    • There is music. Soft and tinkling streams meandering in a forest. If I shut my eyes I can almost be there. The interrupting sound of my breath through my nose makes me open my eyes. I bend. I stretch. I snap in two, almost. I hold it. The minutes pass me by. The class is over far too soon. I stumble home in the dark, avoiding sneaky cars with a spring in my step. There isn't any music. • Room

    March 15, 2010

    • The room was empty. Well, it had me in it, so I suppose it wasn't really empty. But, apart from me, it was an empty room. Nothing wrong with an empty room, except this one was painted fire engine red. Really. Ceiling and walls all shouted, "Stop!" in no uncertain terms. Which is what I did. I stopped.
  • Key word

    March 13, 2010

    • I am the page that is a lock that is a door that is a way into the reader's mind and imagination. What then is the key that will open the lock that will open the door that will then enter this person's mind and create something magical that wasn't there before? It is a word. It is the key word that once written on me will open the lock and the door and the way. Write it down now.

  • I don't watch TV anymore

My solution is simple... No TV. I get so much more done without watching TV. We have a TV set, and a few free digital channels, but I only watch TV series of DVDs that we rent.
  • Brrrr

That short short story made me shiver! Love it!
  • Mercy: a response

I give you no mercy, you're the same as me - a picture torn apart in pain
  • Interesting

I use a laser printer: Samsung. I hate ink printers with a passion. I always print in black and white.
  • Yes

We have to try and figure out if our perception of the 'truth' is true or false, then our liberty is valid.
