About Me
I've published seven full-length books of fiction, seven of poetry, three of nonfiction, eight chapbooks, and translations of two classical plays. Forthcoming in 2009 are GIRL IN A LIBRARY: ON WOMEN WRITERS AND THE WRITING LIFE (BkMk Press) and THE RETREATS OF THOUGHT: POEMS (LSU Press). My husband and I live on a small farm in Virginia with two canine comedians.
