About Me

  • Since the age of 25 I have not been able to place the writing pen down, this has started me on a journey

which led me to become the published Author of

Only the Strong Can Survive and

Aleja's Beautiful Poetic Strategy In Recovery

Through years of abuse by the hands of my adopted parents led me on a writing

adventure that my high school english teacher had discovered.

I was a bit in denial of these writing abilities until one day it changed

and saved a life that was angry-bitter and sad.. As a adopted child the

search still continues for my biological family even at this age. Some how

something good will come out of all the bad that has happened in my life.

UPCOMING WORK

  • A children's bedtime story titled The Moon Is Watching Over Me. This book is under review as of June 2008. How Wonderfully made We Are is finished and needs to be published. This is a children's book relating to being thankful for all that we are blessed with. Seven Shots is a novel that I'm working on which is not yet finished. Poetic Fairytales of thee unknown is almost completed. This book took my mind almost completely away while writing this one. This takes you to a fantasy world. Also there are some songs that I have written which are completed such as Rap and R&b plus spiritual music.

INFLUENCES

  • Oprah Winfrey has been a huge influence in my life because being abused can lead you down so many wrong roads in life but watching her show kept all the talents that God has given me to become alive. After writing Oprah for 15 years with no response led me on a journey to being published. Barack Obama reassures me that all dreams can come true whether big or small. The death of Sean Bell inspired me to write about the living and the dead. God has also inspired me-shown me love and an abundance of strength.

CAUSES I SUPPORT

  • I support abused-bereaved and people with addictions. My writing is about change in our thoughts and our minds. Turning negativity into positivity for all mankind. Barack Obama and Sean bell are featured in my new book Aleja's Beautiful Poetic Strategy in Recovery.
