As anyone who knows me knows, my family is from the Netherlands and I have a great affection for the people of the Netherlands. I spent a year in there when I was 20 and learned to speak fluent Dutch. This video provides a wonderful picture of how the Dutch got their bike paths. I can only hope...

Jim Malusa bicycled to the lowest point on six continents, and lived to tell the tale in his travelogue, Into Thick Air. Now, back home in Arizona, he takes a bicycle tour to the lowest point in Tucson, just downsteam from the outflow of the wastewater plant. Funny, but nobody else was around......
