I just passed 23,000 words and hope to make it to the halfway mark tonight! I am late to the party, but I'm having fun after a long, stressful and depressing month.

Just arrived at 25,000 words!! Don't know if I'll finish this weekend, but it sure feels good to be writing again.

My book is not 50,000 words long!
I am nearing the end of my book and probably won't hit 50,000 words. My Young Adult book has been fun to write and very therapeutic. Thanks to NaNoWriMo I am going to finish this weekend I hope.

I really do appreciate Red Room.
As the we enter what could be another great depression, I think creativity will be more important than ever. I choose to be creative through writing, but maybe this era will slow me down enough to where I can train myself to do drawing in addition to writing. Van Gogh taught himself to draw in six years if I'm correct so this is not such a farfetched project. :)
