For me, music is oxygen. I can't remember a time when I didn't have music playing in the background, or running through my head.
I was up early, as usual, computer on, checking my email and trying to get a handle on the day. The radio played softly in the background, more for company than entertainment.
Normaly I have an eclectic taste in music.
I pretty much fell out of the whole "pop music" thing years (maybe decades) ago, listen only to what absolutely forces its way into my consciousness against my will, without my permission
So what’s in a song’s lyrics that drive people crazy over it?
Sometimes, timing is everything. When this subject was first brought up, the song that immediately came to mind was "Won't get fooled again" by the Who.
My favorite pop song back in the day was Rupert Holmes' 'Escape', better known as the Piňa Colada song.
