Or, I am! :) Now, can you imagine the headaches you would have wearing these? I bet you never even considered that, had you??? Another lovely tree decorated at Horsefeathers in Salado! So I've been cleaning out a few things I'm not using, and one of the sights we saw in Salado were two...

This is an actual Live Oak tree limb growing through an 1870's building that was moved in front of the Stagecoach Inn in the 1930's. Rather than cut the tree limb, they made room for it! That's what I call Hug-a-Tree tree lovers. :) Another shop in Salado all decked out in Christmas finery...

I loved the old buildings in Salado decorated for Christmas. We walked all over and saw many of the homes/shops that are on the historical tour. Many of these were built in the 1860's. It seems a long time ago, until I think of visiting the Scottish castles!!!     Here are...

This had a plain beige bedspread. And everything else was plain beige. Still is. LOL But I bought a comforter set for $70 that had all the pillows pictured, shams, decorator pillows, bedspread and bedskirt. The two beige sham covered pillows in the background were the original beige...

Colombian Mammoths found in Waco, Texas, between 14-20 feet tall, weighing up to 20,000 pounds!  Saber tooth cat's tooth found here. It's in a museum, but the picture depicts its size in comparison with a dime. They believe it was a baby tooth!   The next picture is of the 3-...

It's NOT your fault? When I was a brand new 2LT in the Army stationed at Fort Hood, one of my many assigned duties was managing a duty roster for the 1st Cavalry Division Headquarters. An irate major called, chewing me out for giving him duty again. He was in such a tirade, I couldn't get a...

Lovely decorated Christmas tree at one of the shops in Salado. Many of the buildings are circa 1860s and newer. Some of the buildings are new, but have the old west or Victorian appeal. Some didn't bother and are like the usual--store in a box to make money, forget the nostalgia of the old...

In book 1, Winning the Highlander's Heart, we get the 2nd eldest brother's story, Malcolm and Lady Anice. Then in book 2, The Accidental Highland Hero, we have the eldest, James, and Lady Eilis.   And now book 3, Highland Rake! They are stand alone titles, so it's not essential that they are...

It was pitch black in this place, so much so you couldn't see what was lurking in the depths of the water on either side of the walkway. We heard a big splash and we're hoping one of these guys didn't get away--or rather, hadn't gotten out. But I took pictures, hoping it would capture...

Remember the very austere bedroom scene from yesterday? The metal bed, no mattress, broken window? Well, see if we add a little wall mural, that will make it all the better. Warm colors on cold nights. If you're a shifter, you'll look at all these yummy animals and have pleasant dreams about...
