I woke this morning thinking that I don’t laugh enough. And yes, it’s probably my fault. So I asked why is it that I don’t laugh as much? My first thought … ah, hah … there’s fodder here for a blog.
So why is it that laughter seems to decline as we get older? I remember reading a statistic...

For years, I’ve had difficulty sleeping at night. I have no trouble falling asleep, that’s never been an issue. Typically, I can sleep maybe two or three hours and then I’m awake. Then after I fall back to sleep again I’m awake every two hours until I’ve had enough, call it quits, and get up....

Throughout the years, life presents us with many hurdles to overcome. I am sure everyone has encountered something that has pushed their buttons so hard to make them mega upset and discouraged that they just want to throw in the towel, bag it, chuck it all, yell hasta la vista, baby … well, you get...

As an author of horror and thrillers, I love this time of year. There’s nothing like a web covered house with spiders hanging from the front porch to get my pulse racing. And of course, there are all the classic scary movies to choose from on the TV listings. Zombies, vampires, werewolves,...

I just read an article titled, "Ereaders: Getting Beyond Disruption." (Here's a link to the article: http://ow.ly/1cebO) The author recounts the annual gathering of book industry types that reflect on "the incredibly disruptive force of digital media." Apparently, the new...

Every so often something happens that gives you one of those "warm fuzzies," and lifts the spirits. Monday, I checked the Fictionwise/Kindle site under the best seller horror category and noticed that my new book, Reveka's Return, jumped from the #4 slot to #2...yahoo! Now, I know it...

Yesterday was a great day of writing. I think I bagged about 2 thousand words. The story progressed nicely, good dialogue flowed, and it was like watching a movie in my head with my fingers typing to get it all down. Wow...what a great feeling. I am sure every author on occaison experiences a...
