I watched Precious the other night on my computer with my boyfriend. I had already read the book Push by Sapphire. So I knew all the background that the movie left out (Not that there was much that was left out). I know there are a lot of people who see it as a trend that has been overblown at best...

I went to see Precious (based on the NYTimes Bestselling novel PUSH) on Sunday. I read the book during the summer and so was completely prepared for the violence, the tears, the love and the ultimate message.
