This is it! We've made it to the last day.
Trying to put it all on one page, tie it all up. Ending the year, beginning the year. Thinking of the things for which I give thanks. Moving past the holidays and resuming normal life. Re-commiting to writing, re-balancing existence...

So it comes to this, the end of the year, the accounting, summarizing what did and didn't work, preparing next year's plans. Books left in piles, waiting to be read, manuscripts in revision on my desk. House projects still going on. Documents at work updated to show another year...
