Paul Auster's novel, Invisible, is a novel within a novel about a man who yields his memoir, not quite finished before his death, to an old friend, a famous writer, who pieces things together in a patchy, start-and-stop, but ultimately  satisfying way.   In this Auster book...

Chapter One       The key number to remember when you parachute out of an airplane at an altitude of five hundred feet is two. You have two seconds to do two things. Get your feet down and your cord pulled. That’s it, that’s all you need to know. I hadn’t jumped since ‘44 so the...

"Confessions of a Sex Maniac" is a rollicking read. Hang on to your hat -- it's like being on a roller-coaster on acid, flying through a theme park of sex, death, and at times lurid description. Part noir, part erotica, part sheer mania, it left me breathless. http://bit.ly/xP8dXI

David Henry Sterry paints a very vivid picture in Confessions of a Sex Maniac. I could totally identify with the feeling of powerlessness and in the grips of the Snow Leopard. It grabbed me, made me laugh, chewed me up and scared me half to death. Well done. A great read. - Matthew Hayduck

Reading Confessions of a Sex Maniac is like drinking a shot of the finest whiskey. It's smooth and spicy; goes down oh-so-fast, but leaves a trail in your memory; makes you want more even though you should really go to bed. Sterry's writing is insanely fun to read. And the characters in this story...

CONFESSIONS OF A SEX MANIAC A novella by David Henry Sterry     11 o’clock Monday night I was standing in the nasty skank stink of a body-fluid-scented room of Felipe’s Massage Parlor.  There was no Felipe.  No one was there for a massage.  The wall was stained with what...
