To make well rounded characters, even bad guys should have some goodness, to make they real, don't you think? And if they're the good guys, they need flaws that make them real. Sooo, what do you think? Good guy or bad guy?

Hopefully not! Yet the truth of the matter is that "being published" ...having a new release coming out...a contract that says your work is sold and will be published... is no guarantee that it will.
Several authors I know who write for the NY publishers have had contracts for 2nd/3rd/4th...
