Funny old day. Lots of thoughts passing through my mind. One is about how do you fit into a place that is not where you happen to come from? How do you adapt? Do you ever? This thought comes unexpectedly because Californian born hubby decides that with the second day of blue sky and sunshine in...

My apprentices and I were having an interesting chat recently about repentance and some interesting issues came to light that I thought I’d share with you. I was concerned with the amount of suffering they were experiencing as they were recapitulating their lives and rewriting old painful stories....

I have had to do some serious reflecting on mistakes I have made and some of my relationships that I have. I have realized the more I think about the mistakes that I have made and the wrong turns in life the guilt starts to eat away at my stomach first and eventually works its way up to my heart....

The Shack is a book like no other.  With almost 8 million copies in print, it has been on the New York Times Best Seller List for 64 consecutive weeks and has been the #1 bestseller on that list for 51 weeks.  Film producers have expressed interest and there are websites dedicated to this book. ...

I make daisy chains. To make a daisy chain you have to own at least one decent finger nail. My friend, Monica, doesn't have any nails because she chews on them constantly.     - How many sins do you have, she asks, as she watches me pick the daisies.     - Well, I have to have at least four,...

My imagination was running wild at the thought of me, whip in hand, dressed in leather, galloping into the sunset. I was a tough one, ready to slay. These not-so-polite ideas were in response to my star forecast a while ago:"You're going to have to be very tough with somebody. That isn't a...
