I'm on the front page of Red Room! This makes me bounce around the room whooping in a particularly undignified way. It's very hard publicising a little book from a little publisher in what, lets face it, is a little country. Any mention that I haven't asked for is particulary nice! So thank you...

I'm not updating here as often as I should. I keep a blog at my website and since I'm covering a trial at the moment and starting to research for the next project it's as much as I can do to keep that up and running...ah the trials of this new world we live in.

After a break of several weeks I'm going back to Dublin's Four Courts tomorrow to cover a murder trial for a Sunday paper. I've been working as a court reporter for the past two years but since Christmas I've been freelancing and only covering the bigger murder trials.
