GOOD SAMARITAN PIE
The meal prepared from my cognition, the bread and jam of humility, salad of expectation, roast of determination and Good Samaritan pie, wait on the table to be devoured. The courses pass and come dessert my kindly intentions are cut...

The life bone is connected to the love bone

Touch Your Toes
Funny how we deal with feet. I have seen a woman cradle hers and treat it like the dearest babe. I know some folks who shun their feet; can barely stand to think of them, let alone to touch them. There are the Mani-Pedi...

My feet hurt. Was it a rusty nail or a weed? I was walking barefoot; I like it. There was no reason for weeds to grow on tiles, although the thought of the fertility of ceramic baked to symmetrical proportions was enticing.
I poured some water. It’s funny when I think about it. Do sharp objects...

A few moments up from the basement room I'm cleaning out this weekend, breathing not easily from the dust. But in my hand, a salvaged poem I wrote in 1997.
Eleven years ago. A partially/somewhat different me. (Not sure of the last time I even wrote a poem... oh yes, a poetry workshop shortly...
