As a former editor of Primavera, a literary journal, I understand how time-consuming it is to correspond with authors who submit manuscripts.  I spent a lot of time writing detailed personal letters to authors before e-mail was widespread.  I even got thank-you letters for my rejection notes...

I'm back in Massachusetts, the Southwest a distant dream at the moment. It took forever to get here, or so it seemed. You just can't get from Point A to Point B these days without a lot of expense and a lot of stress. The best thing to do is prepare for it. I spent literally the entire day and...

I got an e-mail on my Google account from a lady at The Mississipi State University who would like to do my play, A Man Called Rejoice, with her students. I’d love to offer her permission, but her e-mail address ends in .edu and, if I try to reply, the system locks up. Anyone got advice?
