Today, around 400 years after it was penned, Cervantes's Don Quixote is arguably the most published and translated book, second only to the Bible. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4179869.stm  It has truly stood the test of time since it was first published in 1605 (Part I) and 1615 (Part II.)...

Imagine picking up a novel, hoping for an entertaining read. You open it up, read the first paragraph, and realize that the main character is …   … you!   What would it feel like?   A teacher might find this a good discussion starter for  students (I'm thinking of grades 6-10)....

So, last Monday (the 19th) I turned 30 years old.  From what I gather this is one of those "milestone" birthdays. 16 you get your driver's license, 18 you're an "adult", 21 you can drink, and 30 you are officially 'old'. Not really part of the "MTV Generation" anymore...
