I believe that anyone who reads newspapers, magazines and books (real ones or online) knows that the copy-editor is sorely missed. Their removal is an attack on language, and thus, knowledge and understanding. (yup - I deliberately mis-spelled 'copy' in the title)   What Good Are Copy Editors...
