Here the wild garlic, also know as wild onion and allium, is still in its pod. My dad had found them growing along a creek and harvested and planted them. So every year without fail, we have a group of them resprout and grow in the backyard.
And they are edible. :)

So what do you see on a nature trail?
My son actually worked on one of the trails here for his Eagle Scout project. Cub Scouts and other Boy Scouts work on them too. It's a wonderful gift to area residents.
