The vacation treadmill took me and my wife 940 miles in four days via the driving treadmills. Seven hundred twenty of those miles were on Interstate 5, or as the young people call it, I5. My rear end is now shaped like my car seat. Ironically, my pants fit better.
I5 follows the Siskiyou Trail in...

Warming day in the Bay Area, clear skies, cooler this evening, warmer yet tomorrow.
After my Epdurals yesterday, I went home and slept for eleven hours. I woke feeling marvelous, got up, standing tall, and went to work on gathering materials for a requested meeting with the SSI...

Quite warm for the Bay Area.
Son Guy slept all day.
I worked as best I could on the computer, but it has suddenly become troubled. If the troubles do not clear up, I'm going to seek help tomorrow.

San Francisco in the minds of many conjours up images of Golden Gate Bridges and Seaside views; of Active faultlines and Busy streets. The city of the impossible, as I call it, is the only city I know where a small town denzien feels welcomed and a big city dweller feels at home. A person whose...

I'm excited about performing poems at Diesel Books in Oakland, 3 p.m., Sunday, November 8th. I'll see old friends and hope to meet some online friends--just as "real"--at the bookstore event. There must be a good bar nearby where we can toast each other's health and writing. It...
