Okay, we're off and running! This new Kindle is clearly an attempt to undercut Apple while keeping their system intact. Of course, their main advantages are: free 3G wireless and a massive bookstore to choose from.Now the ball's in Apple's court.

With all the hubbub following the iPad's launch, my feeling is that Apple's table can't yet compete as an e-book reader with Kindle.
