Biography

Jess Wells is the author of 13 volumes, including the historical novel, The Mandrake Broom (Firebrand, 2007). Wells was awarded a San Francisco Arts Commission Grant for Literature and she is a four-time finalist for the Lambda Literary Award. Her short stories and essays are included in more than two dozen literary anthologies and journals, included in university curricula and published internationally.
